Why did I become a Celebrant?

Having spent the majority of my career to date in Arts administration, I wanted to add another string to my bow. As a classically-trained singer, I have participated in numerous weddings over the years and always really loved being involved in couples’ special day.  It therefore seemed a logical step for me to move into the area of celebrancy, combining all the skills I have built up over the years in one exciting and hugely rewarding area. I love chatting to people and getting to know them. I am (apparently!) approachable and warm, and have a knack of putting people at ease. Originally from Co. Meath, I have lived in Dublin for over twenty-five years, but am still proud of my country roots! 

What can I do for you?

My job is to work with you in a collaborative and engaging way to ensure that your ceremony reflects your unique story and who you are as individuals and a unit, or a family. We will design a bespoke ceremony which reflects your unique story. Around that, we will build a memorable and inclusive event which will be joyful, personal and specific to your requirements. You will have the freedom to choose the approach with which you feel most comfortable – remember, this is your ceremony!
