CELEBRANT SERVICES
Creating memorable and unique ceremonies for your special occasion

Weddings
Wedding ceremonies that reflect your unique story and who you are, both as individuals and as a unit. Together we will create a bespoke ceremony that comprises, at its heart, your love story. You will have the freedom to choose the approach with which you feel most comfortable – be it more traditional, less conventional, a combination of both or none of the above!
There are a number of ceremony enhancements that we can discuss, as well as whatever music and readings you want to include. Some examples are:
• Traditional Celtic Handfasting
• Unity Candle Ceremony
• Sand Ceremony
• Wedding ring warming
You may have your own idea for a ritual which would be more than welcome.
It is important to note that as an ethical celebrant, my role is to take care of the ceremonial side of your wedding only. You will need to undertake some additional steps to comply with the legal requirements for weddings in Ireland (see FAQs). I will, however, be happy to guide you through the process.
Baby Naming
Let me help you introduce your new baby to family and friends. A customised baby naming ceremony is a beautiful way to welcome your precious new arrival into the family and establish their place in the world!
Less formal than wedding ceremonies, there are still numerous beautiful rituals that can be incorporated into your baby’s big day which involve all the family and friends and can be turned into mementos for the new child.

Vow Renewals
For a significant anniversary, an opportunity to re-affirm your original wedding vows, or simply an excuse for a party, I can help you create a memorable ceremony which, just like my weddings, has you and your partner at its core.
A vow renewal ceremony gives you time to reflect on your journey together so far, and on those who have contributed to the richness of your lives together. You may want to involve family and friends in the ceremony, take inspiration from a memento of the original day – an order of service booklet, a treasured photo, your wedding rings – or you may want to throw out the rule book and do something completely different that is unique to you!
However you choose to do it, our ceremony will communicate what is important to you in life, up to this point and into the future.
Elopements
Does the idea of just the two of you, your vows and a stunning backdrop appeal for your big day? That’s how simple it can be!

Funerals
As your celebrant, I will meet with you and your designated family and friends to create a beautiful ceremony for your loved one. I will carefully craft a eulogy – or life tribute – in collaboration with you. Together we will choose music, quotes, readings and any symbols which represent aspects of their life you may wish to highlight.
As civil celebrants are not aligned with any particular belief system, I can incorporate favoured prayers, hymns or any other ritual into the ceremony, if you wish.
Then, with sincerity and care, I will officiate at the ceremony at the funeral home, crematorium, cemetery or memorial location of your choice. I will ensure that your loved one’s life is celebrated, their death respectfully honoured and their legacy acknowledged.
Pet memorials
We all know that pets become part of the family. For children in particular, not only can the loss of a pet be devastating, but sometimes their first experience of grief. A simple, family-led ceremony for the pet can be a sensitive way of allowing children to express what the pet meant to them. (It is often easier when this is facilitated by someone outside the family). The focus will be on the positive impact the pet has had on the family and how both lives were enhanced by your time together.
